Tehsildar and Naib Tehsildar Ministerial Quota
There are seats for Tehsildar and Naib Tehsildar under the Ministerial Quota. For Naib Tehsildar there are 68 seats and the requirement is graduation along with knowledge of computers. The candidates must have at least three years of regular service in the Board of Revenue or its subordinate offices. The exam for these positions includes General Knowledge and questions from the Punjab Land Revenue Act, Punjab Tenancy Act and Land Acquisition Act. The paper will also have an Urdu and English essay which must be passed.
For Tehsildar there are 42 seats with similar requirements. The applicants should be graduates with knowledge of computers and have at least three years of regular service in the relevant departments. The exam pattern is similar to that of Naib Tehsildar with questions from the relevant acts and an essay portion.
Anti-Corruption Department for Junior Clerks
There are also 12 seats in the Anti-Corruption Department for Junior Clerks on a contract basis for five years which may become permanent. The minimum qualification is higher secondary school certification (Intermediate) with a typing speed of 25 words per minute in English. The exam will include a proficiency test in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint along with General Knowledge and Basic Computer Studies.
